A reminder of the responsibilities of all broadcasters to uphold the codes. Explanations on the processing of complaints was very informative.

A Useful refresher. Reminded me of a few key essentials about how the survey is conducted.

It allowed me to get updated on the laws of defamation and prepared me for broadcast.

This module made me want to apply to the news team in work. It taught me to aspire to better myself and my skills.

I recently completed an AI course presented by Joanne Sweeney through Learning Waves, and I can honestly say it was one of the most informative and enjoyable learning experiences I've had in years. Over a number of weeks, Joanne guided us through the world of AI in a clear and engaging way, covering everything from working with ChatGPT and creating customised GPTs, to discovering incredible tools - which I hadn't heard of before, dealing with text, voice and video. The course opened my eyes to how AI can act as a personal assistant in 2025, making everyday work more efficient and creative. Joanne's teaching style makes what could seem like a complex or even subject feel approachable and easy to understand. For anyone curious about AI, or even a little nervous about it, I'd highly recommend this course. It's practical, insightful and genuinely inspiring.

This was my first Learning Waves course, I didn't know what to expect but in my head I had imaged something of a college online lecture. This totally exceeded that expectation - the course was engaging, insightful, and everything just made sense. I'll definitely be signing up to future courses.

I cannot recommend this course highly enough! As someone working in the radio industry, I had no idea just how vulnerable our systems were until Noel broke down the risks in such a clear, engaging, and practical way.

This was an eye-opening course. It covered the wide-ranging issues and factors which could see misinformation and disinformation seeping into what people see and hear on the news or on social media. Ricardo was an excellent lecturer a facilitator who brought the group together despite most of the course being carried out remotely. The guest lecturers were also brilliant - their expertise added great depth to each session.

This course "Understanding and Supporting Autism in the workplace" provided practical information that will benefit me as a manager working on improved inclusivity in our workplace.

Wow, this course is a real eye-opener in the world of AI. Glen is brilliant at showing what the good sides and darker sides of AI are with demos on what apps are out there. I've already found myself learning more from what I picked up on the course! Loved it!

Understanding myself helped me understand others and their differences. The module on difficult conversations and the role-playing tasks are key to understanding other people's perspectives. This course was very engaging with a great balance of in-person and online sessions. Sharing our experiences was eye-opening.

The most valuable aspect of the Senior Management course for me was learning about different personality types and the iceberg model. This helped me to better understand my colleagues & be more aware of things they may find triggering; I find I am now more inclined to take a step back and consider other points of view before reacting.
