Programme Details

The TY Media Week offers TY students the unique opportunity to be placed in a radio station for a week. During the week students will be mentored and they will get the opportunity to create content which will be broadcast on the radio station they are placed in. Through the theme of Media Literacy students will learn about radio production, presentation and programming.

Programme Details

The Journalism Graduate Programme offers 10 Journalism graduates the opportunity to work in a radio station for 5 months. The graduates will be working under the guidance of a mentor in the radio station and they will work either in the News/Sports or Current Affairs department within the radio station. Graduates will create and produce content for on-air and on-line for the radio station they will be placed in. Graduates will be in a position to achieve a Diploma in Broadcast Journalism on successful completion of the programme.

Programme Details

This programme offers participants a unique insight into the world of radio and is delivered by industry experts. The course will take participants on a journey through radio, showing participants how radio works, how radio content is researched, produced and presented on-air. At the end of the programme, participants will present their content on an online radio station. In addition to this, participants will get the opportunity to work with others and to develop team working and team skills.
