Way back on the 5th January 1998, a new kind of radio station was created in Ireland. One that wasn't stuffy and backgroundy - we wanted something fresh and youthful. We wanted to be the nation's foreground radio. And the numbers prove that we succeeded. We became the station to challenge mindsets - of our listeners, commentators, politicians and pretty much anyone else in the country with a mind to set. Today FM is the home of personality-driven radio in Ireland. Our programming is fun, imaginative, unafraid and tuned in. Almost a million people listen to Today FM every week. They turn to us for guts, currency and connectedness that they don't find anywhere else. No matter where in the country they are, Today FM speaks to them personally. That's why more people under 45 listen to us than to anybody else.
