Learning Waves Skillnet invites you to meet a host of radio programming experts in Dublin on 27th November 2018 in the Alex Hotel, Dublin. The speakers will include Paul Sylvester, Absolute Radio, UK, Michael Brett, Content Editor, 98FM, Nessa McGann, Content Editor, Spin South West, Robbie Fogarty, Deputy Programme Director, Sunshine 106.8 and Dave MacArdle, Programme Director, Corks Red FM. 

Paul Sylvester will share with us the Absolute Story and talk to us about how the station dealt with the departure of presenter Christian O'Connell and what plans are in place for managing and recruiting talent.

Hot off the IMRO stage, Michael Brett from 98FM will share the stations success story having claimed the much coveted Music Station of the Year at the recent IMRO Radio Awards and how his station manages content that resonates with its audience.

Robbie Fogarty from Sunshine 106.8 will share with the audience the amazing story of the station that is Sunshine 106.8, how it manages to increase quarter on quarter in the JNLR results and how this station manages with a small team.

Nessa McGann from Spin South West will talk to us about managing a Regional Youth Radio Station in the South West of Ireland. Nessa will also give her insights into station management and how her role has changed and developed since the station launched. 

Dave Mac Ardle, Presenter and Programme Director at Corks Red FM about creating engaging content for its audience both on-air and online.
