BBC Academy to deliver News Editor training for Learning Waves .
Learning Waves Skillnet has partnered with the BBC Academy to design and deliver a 2 day Effective News Editor training programme. This is an exciting opportunity for both Learning Waves and the BBC Academy. The training will be delivered by 2 BBC trainers, Sue Ellis and Andrew Wilson on 8th and 9th May 2013 in Dublin. The course will be limited to 12 participants and will cover the following :- Defining your editorial vision, communicating effectively with your team and setting goals to motivate them
- Defining your editorial values - using real scenarios, we help you to develop clear editorial decision-making
- How to encourage original thinking in storytelling and ensure your journalism has a greater impact
- Developing an effective leadership style, including managing difficult situations and getting your message across
