Radio Programme Production Course Level 6 developed with IT Tralee.

Learning Waves Skillnet has successfully developed a Level 6 HETAC award in Radio Programme Production with IT Tralee aimed at developing new talent for the industry.  The roll out of the programme for 2012 will be funded from the Job Seekers Support Programme under Learning Waves Skillnet funding for 2012.  As a result the pilot programme, which is due to commence in September, is aimed at job seekers who wish to develop a career in the radio industry.  The programme covers modules on :
  • Writing for Radio
  • Radio Studio Operation
  • Steps to Success
  • Defamation
  • Voice Presentation
  • Interviewing Skills
  • Work placement
The pilot programme will be run in IT Tralee and will be restricted to 20 participants.  Learning Waves will begin recruiting job seekers in early September.  If you currently have CV's of potential employees who you feel would be suited to this course please advise them of this course and ask them to contact Learning Waves.  The pilot programme is free to job seekers.
