JOB ALERT - AA Roadwatch are looking for a Junior Researcher
  • 3rd October, 2018

AA Ireland is looking for a new Junior Researcher to join the Roadwatch team.

This position is ideal for a third-level student interested in obtaining experience in radio and research work. The Roadwatch newsroom is an exciting, fast-paced environment, so the role requires a capable team player with the ability to work well under pressure and excellent communication skills.

This is a part-time role (about 15-20 hours per week), primarily research based, with some broadcast shifts. It will involve shift work – mainly at the weekends and during the evening, but may also include rush hour (6am-9:30am and 4pm-7pm) Monday to Friday, depending on the college timetable and availability of the successful candidate.

Your shifts will be based in our offices on South William St in Dublin city centre and in the Dublin City Council camera room.

If you are interesting in working with us, send a CV and a 40 second demo of a mock traffic report by e-mail to roadwatchjob@gmail.com.  (They do not have to be broadcast quality – a phone recording is fine). Traffic reports only – news demos will not be accepted.

Closing date for applications is 5pm on Saturday 20th October. Only applications complete with CV and traffic demo will be considered.
