MojoCon 3 to take place in Galway in May 2017
  • 30th November, -0001

MojoCon, the world's leading Mobile Journalism event will take place in Galway from 4th to 6th May in the Radisson Hotel.  The event which is the brain child of RTE's Head of Innovation and Learning Waves Skillnet trainer, Glen Mulcahy is in it's third year.  What began as a pilot one off project in the convention centre in Dublin in 2015 has now been recognised across the world as the leading annual event for all Mojo professionals from all industries. The event will focus on mobile journalism, mobile photography, mobile content creation, and new technologies.  Speakers attending the event include :

CNN’s Samantha Barry, freelance journalist Jean Devlin, Story Up’s Sarah Hill, NRK’s Kristin Granbo, RTE's Eleanor Mannion, the father of video journalism, Michael Roseblum, from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Erin Collins and many more. Details are still emerging on https://mojocon.rte.ie.

Learning Waves will be attending the event and we hope to bring back lots of tips and hints to you our members on how 'Mojo' can help you broadcast your stories.  Below is a snapshot of MojoCon 2016 so you can see what might be in store for 2017.
