Introductory Guide to Mobile Journalism
  • 30th November, -0001

Mobile journalism(Mojo) can be defined as the process of gathering and delivering news using a smartphone or a tablet.  It is a trend in news covering and broadcasting and has the potential to become the new standard in journalism practice, especially to report breaking news.

Learning Waves Skillnet has been working with Glen Mulcahy, Head of Innovation, RTÉ Technology and founder of Mojocon, international mobile journalism conference, in designing and delivering Mobile Journalism training to staff across the Independent Commercial Radio Sector in Ireland.  Glen has contributed to this fantastic ‘Guide to Mobile Journalism’ which has been published by Aljazeera Media Training and Development Centre.  The publication has now been made freely available to all those working in or interested in working in Mobile Journalism.  The publication is available here and it will provide you with all the information you need to know to get started with ‘Mojo’.  Have fun and we look forward to seeing all your work in 2017.
