New Sound and Vision Funding round announced

New Sound and Vision Funding round announced.

  • 25th October, 2022

The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) has today announced that it will be accepting applications for funding under Round 47 of the Sound & Vision 4 Scheme.

Up to €4.9m in funding will be available under the round which is open from the 25th October for independent producers and broadcasters to support new programme productions. Guidelines and the application form for Round 47 of the Sound & Vision 4 Scheme are available on the BAI’s website here.

The closing date for applications is 12 noon sharp on Thursday, 8th December 2022.  All applications must be submitted via www.baionline.ie.

To support those across the sector seeking funding under this funding round, Learning Waves will host a workshop on 8th November from 10am to 1pm.  The workshop will look at an overview of the scheme, will hear from those who have been successful in securing funding and will also look at applications from an assessors perspective.  The workshop will hear from Philip Cooper, the BAI, Nessa McGann, McGann Media, Joe McGill, Keeshla Communications and Mark Story, RadioStory.

To book your place on this workshop, go to  : https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZIodOqvqT4sGNYrV7wnq3zOupRYROOg3LEg.

Places are limited so early booking is advised.
