Burnout and Recovery - From Base Camp Everest to Relearning Basics.
Course Aims
Caroline Hughes knows only too well what it’s like when the body decides to take control and claim payback for all the borrowed energy that’s used to “just keep going” over a sustained period in order to meet demands. Her experience of burnout in 2019 was life-changing – both in the depth of her physical and mental exhaustion, and in the lessons which she now applies to her life which has enabled her to make a full and total recovery.
Using her own story of the highs and lows of corporate life, she gives talks in which she shares insights into how burnout is completely preventable when partnership between individual and corporate is aligned and how strategies to “find your middle” will empower others to accelerate and decelerate their performance in a healthy way. She also coaches executives who recognize that they need to learn to prioritize their self-care, examine underlying beliefs that drive their core behaviour and develop new healthy habits in order to continue to be successful.
