Learning Waves Skillnet funding for 2019 announced.

Learning Waves Skillnet is delighted to announce that Skillnet Ireland have approved the networks funding for 2019.  Funding has been announced for the core programme, TNP, training for those seeking employment in the sector, EAP and funding for the development of new programmes for the sector, FSP.  The network has been in operation since 2004 and this funding will see the network enter its fifteenth year of providing training and development opportunities for those working in the Independent Commercial Radio Sector in Ireland. 

The funding will allow the network to further develop the training and networking opportunities available to the sector and will see it build on the €3.1 million already invested in the sector.

Speaking about the funding for 2019, Project Manager, Teresa Hanratty believes that, 'the funding is testament of the sectors commitment to providing lifelong learning opportunities for those working in the sector' and 'to growing and developing a talent pool for the industry'.
