Dates for Workshops on Referenda Guidelines Announced.

Learning Waves Skillnet has in conjunction with the BAI and Media Lawyer Solicitors announced dates for workshops on guidelines relating to upcoming Referenda in 2018 and 2019.  The workshops have been designed in association with Declan McLoughlin from the BAI and with Sarah Kieran and Andrea Martin from Media Lawyer Solicitors.  The workshops will commence on 13th March 2018 and will run to 17th April 2018 with 6 workshops being provided in total.  The venues for the workshops will be in Dublin, Waterford, Sligo and Athlone thus providing all stations with an opportunity to attend the workshops at a location which is in close proximity to their station.

The BAI has developed guidelines to assist stations in planning and preparing for upcoming Referenda.  The guidelines which will be issued shortly by the BAI will cover all Referenda due in 2018 and 2019 in Ireland.

The workshops are aimed at all those who will be involved in debating about, reporting on and who will be present in count centres at upcoming Referenda.
