Job opportunities in Ireland's Independent Radio sector.

Ireland's Indepedent Radio Sector represents 31 Independent Radio stations across the country and is a vibrant, creative and dynamic sector.  The sector is a key component of the media landscape in Ireland broadcasting across the island of Ireland and providing audiences across the country with the most up to date information and content in relation to news, sport, current affairs, music and much more.  There are a number of job opportunities across the sector at the moment.

Learning Waves, the training body for the Independent Radio Sector in Ireland is looking to recruit a Digital Marketing Executive.  The role is part-time and based in Creative Spark in Dundalk, Co. Louth and will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work with 31 radio stations across the country and to create content for all Learning Waves social media platforms.  Flexible working arrangements can be agreed with potential candidates.

iRadio, the youth regional radio station, broadcasting across the North East and North West is looking to recruit a Senior Media Sales Executive.  The successful candidate will be based across the region with a hyrid working environment on offer.  iRadio are looking for someone who has a passion for sales and advertising especially within the radio market.  You must be driven and focussed on results and undertake the responsibilty of managing and growing an extensive list of key clients across the region.

Wireless Group are looking for a Junior Broadcast and IT Engineer, unique and rare opportunity to work with Corks 96FM, C103 and Limerick's Live 95FM.  The successful candidate will join the Southern Engineering Hub of Wireless Ireland and will be responsible for ensuring continuous, high quality, uninterrupted transmission via on-air and online. 

Midlands 103 is looking to recruit a Sales Director.  The successful candidate will have the ability to lead a proven team, to launch new marketing solutions and diversify the stations business activities.  The station specialises in multi-media advertising for both local and national brands, whether audio, display, social campaigns and branded content.  As Sales Director, the successful candidate will lead the commercial team and work with the Managing Director towards diversification of the business.
