Digital for Radio Diploma 2018

This programme aims to provide participants with an understanding of the digitial landscape in Ireland, how to create content for digital platforms, how to monitor digital content, how to monetise stations digtial real estate, how to create digital campaigns for radio, how to establish what social media platforms work best for the station and how to devise and implement a digital strategy in their stations.

Course Content

The course is comprised of 9 core modules and 5 elective modules.  Core modules include the following :

  • Course Overview & Digital Media Landscape in Ireland
  • The Role of Digital Marketing in Radio
  • How to develop a Digital Marketing Strategy
  • Legal Risks of Social Media(Part 1 & 2)
  • Search Engine Optimisation
  • Content Marketing Strategy
  • Writing for the Web and Re-Purposing Content
  • Social Media Platforms
  • Implementing your Digital Marketing Strategy

Elective Modules include the following :

  • Digital Selling
  • Monetising your Digital Real Estate
  • Traditional and Digital Campaigns
  • Brand Journalism
  • Google Analytics

Participants can undertake the programme on a modular basis.
