Producer of the Sue Nunn Show on KCLR 96FM at KCLR 96FM (Kilkenny )

The Sue Nunn Show is KCLR96fm’s flagship morning talk show. It airs from 9am to 12pm weekdays. The show which currently, at it’s peak, has 24,000* listeners, is by far the most listened to radio show in Carlow/Kilkenny, outstripping all national and regional stations available in the area.
The producer will work closely with the presenter to broadcast an entertaining, vibrant, challenging, engaging, fair, balanced and relevant morning talk show. He/she will generate ideas for the show and be responsible for leading a small team in the sourcing of exciting and relevant content.
The person we are looking for will have a strong sense of place, knowledge of current affairs, be able to lead a team, be flexible and able work under pressure. The ideal candidate will understand deeply what makes good local radio and will have a clear understanding of the legislative environment in which we operate.
We need someone who will ensure that The Sue Nunn Show will always connect with listeners, local communities, organisations, movers and shakers in a lively and engaging way about the issues that matter to them.

KCLR96fm is the local radio station licensed by the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland to broadcast to Counties Kilkenny and Carlow.
