Welcome to Learning Waves Skillnet
 Learning Waves Skillnet is the leading provider of training for the Independent Commercial Radio
Sector in Ireland, providing training that is tailored to meet the needs of the sector, training that
is of high quality and affordable to all its members. We are a network organisation made up of
33 Independent Commercial Radio Stations in Ireland , together with the Broadcasting Authority
of Ireland(BAI), Independent Broadcasters of Ireland(IBI), the Association of Independent Radio
Producers of Ireland (AIRPI), Independent Network News (INN), Independent Radio Sales (IRS) and
UTV Radio Solutions. The network is funded by Skillnets(a government initiative) together with all
of the Independent Commercial Radio Stations in Ireland.
